ABOUT ME
As a lifelong Knoxvillian, I grew up here going to school, worshiping, playing sports, and learning the importance of a tight-knit community. I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee. My wife and I have been married for more than 20 years, and are the proud parents of two wonderful children. In my spare time, I have enjoyed coaching basketball, volunteering at my children’s schools and buying and selling antiques. We make our home in West Knoxville and are active members of Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish.
My family raised me to take pride in public service. My grandfather worked as a chemist at the Oak Ridge National Laboratories during World War II. My father has served as a judge for more than two decades. As an archaeologist for UT, I managed teams in the common goal of preserving the history of Knox County and greater East Tennessee. As Knox County Circuit Court Clerk, my staff and I have instituted successful programs to improve communications with the public, streamline workflows, introduce legislation, and institute new programs including bringing all court records online. We continue to find ways to better utilize technology to move the office forward, while always emphasizing our core mission of providing the best customer service possible to the people of Knox County.
I am honored to run for re-election in the August 2022 General Election for Knox County Circuit Court, Civil Sessions, and Juvenile Court Clerk. I would greatly appreciate your support and your vote.
Sincerely,
Charlie Susano
